Extremely disappointed with tradovate. Now their platform is unreliable, often freezing at crucial trading moments, leading to unnecessary losses. But TradeStation margins and commissions are higher. And it isn't uncommon for them to remove or increase their day trading margin in periods of volatility, which is the case now. So I feel Tradovate is the best option for most people, although it may be worth opening a TradeStation futures account for the charting, if nothing else for backtesting.
