Didn’t realize how thick the tailgate was. Looks like it could work. Just trying to figure out how my bike has 6” of room in a 5.5’ bed, and it seems like it should still work in the rivian somehow. I’ve fit 5 29er endurance geometry bikes on a tailgate pad with no issues. The tunnel fits a lot of gear.

None of these thoughts are new. The pads don't fit very well and unless someone designs a Rivian specific one I don't think any pad will be that great. The tailgate is too thick and the middle tailgate panel interferes as shown in the pics above.
