The Helicopter event is an event that attracts zombies to your location in Project Zomboid. For those who don’t know Project Zomboid is quite infamous for being one of the most difficult zombie survival games. I suspect the press, since they don't care about saving you, and follow you everywhere bringing the zombies to you, like the press would do. More exiting footage and would get more viewers. That is all the press cares about.

Although this does have a caveat. If you are already based in the middle of nowhere, then you will likely be fine anyway.The heli draws in zombies from a gigantic distance and the sound moves around a huge area. Even if you are not spotted, the moving sound will pull zombies around for the duration. Usually its best to either drive away for the day or if you are confident and have some coffee/vitamins, use the heli to remove all the zeds around your home lol. r ...
