Change the fuel filter often, the Duramax fuel system is fed by suction from the fuel tank and the slightest filter plugging will starve and overwork the fuel pump. The newer 17 models finally use a fuel boost pump to correct the starve issue. I know I'm a little answering this, but thanks to all for the advise.

Crank no start but will…. 2015 Chevy 2500 with 6.6 duramax. Crank no start but will start on ether and run fine. Hand pump will build pressure but it bleeds off pretty quick. Ran a hose from external tank directly to injection pump and still wouldn't build enough pressure to start. The injection pump has been replaced.
