The Jeep has been to the dealer several times with no luck. It was just in again and they claim they changed the battery. Question is: does the 2nd Gen have an auxiliary battery and, if so, where is it located? Youtube only shows one battery replacement and if that is it, l paid for nothing as the same old dirty battery is still under the hood.

By removing the fuse it just sees the main battery. Downside is you have to make sure you disable ESS or you will be starting the Jeep from a stop event with the main battery. Also remember if you have a bad aux battery it will drain off your main battery.
