I have a bottle of cough syrup that contains 20 mg dxm and 200 mg guaifenesin per 10 mls. The bottle is 120 mls, so there is a total of 240 mg dxm and 2400 mg guaifenesin. I know that one shouldnt consume more than 2400 mgs of guaifenesin in a 24 hour period, therefore its probably not a good idea to take 2400 mgs at once.
