Nov 23, 2014 · I've had both the 21 and the SF, as well as the 30 and SF. Aside from the way they fit my hand, I could find no difference. Accuracy and reliability are on par throughout the four. As for any real differences, you would have to explore the Generation 3's and 4's. The best defense is a good offense, and I'm really offensive. The G30 gen3, G30SF gen3 & G30S have the same factory grip texture. The gen4 G30SF has a different grip texture. The Gen3 G30, gen3 30SF & Gen4 G30SF have the same slide. The G30S has the skinniest slide out of all of them. All are great shooters with pinpoint accuracy (dependent on the shooter). All can take the G21 mags.

I am actually more accurate with the 30, don't know why. A friend that is a firearms instructor said it's due to being aware of the shorter barrel and concentrating more on the sight picture.
