Estoc dark souls.

I loved the estoc in both Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, but the Dark Souls 2 version seems a bit underwhelming. It has lower scaling and lower base damage than the rapier, and because criticals are much harder to get this time around, the whole "high crit damage" aspect of thrustings swords seems to be a lot less useful.+15 is always the best upgrade for most weapons in my experience in pve. not so sure about pvp. +15 always gave me the most damage especially with scaling. since I always go dex build, and I'll mostly go for uchigatana, +15 did a lot more damage than a +5 lightning uchi, because it scaled better. but maybe its a specific scenario that doesn't apply to much else? That spell doesn't scale up with your pyro glove; it gives a flat 40% damage boost whether you've got a pyro flame +1 or +15, so don't worry about spending souls on it. As far as stats go, I'd say 15 Int for buffs, 12 or 14 Att depending on how many spell slots you want. Then pump the rest into dex, vit, and end. the estoc has the advantage of actually attacking with its one handed R2, it's a pretty nice slash-poke combo, like a straight sword. the slash gives it some much needed versatility, it's currently one of my favorite weapons its high base and the fact that scaling sucks might even make it the best thrusting sword not sure about the boss weapons, haven't really tested them. if you like the ...Hello Dark Souls 3 Community, I desperately need your help. It get's B-STR-scaling upon maxing it out and also B-scaling to whatever element you infuse it with.Maybe you're lagging then because it's more than possible to punish the R1 spam. Heck, I use twin maces against estoc wielders and still win. Have a medium shield and soak up their first hit (usually just a poke) and then parry. Nah, straight up your fault for not understanding how the game works. An NPC's ashes will allow the shrine handmaid to stock whatever it is they had in their inventory at the time of death. Id say Estoc simply because it has a better moveset IMO. Ricards R2 is cool, but you can only use it against some slowmoving enemies. Estoc has a wicked R2 slash, and some nice long range pokes twohanded. The Rapier also has a nice lunging R2, and very few weapons can parry/backstab harder than a +15 Rapier. 4.
