FAFSA EFC is completely irrelevant only the school EFC matters. e.g. Yale only matched to 0 EFC but for Yale, anyone w/ an income <$75k has an EFC of 0. EFC also varies by school. At Brown, according to the NPC, my EFC is $8000 because my family owns a home. at Rice the NPC says it is $800. my FAFSA EFC is 3.1k. 48.

Yes. If you apply thru QB, only 10 people will get matched over the NCM process. Apply directly to MIT because even if youre qualified your admissions rate thru the ncm is floor level low.
