Checked the front fuel filter and no fuel there, so I replaced that fuel filter anyway. I then checked the back fuel filter and there was fuel there. Checked after the fuel pump no fuel. The push button engages the relay, the relay wired to stay engaged until power is removed (key switch off). You will never be able to forget to re-engage the safety switches as it will self reset now.Such a connection could have cause the engine to cut out like it was running out of fuel, if the fuel cut off solenoid works like on my BX, where it cuts off fuel when de-energized. Since you appear to be losing all voltage, perhaps the battery connection to ground could be the issue.
