Honda accord touch screen not working.

I bought this item after seeing your post. I asked local stereo shop to install it. When the carplay mode gets activated the screen turns completely black. The sound is there and android auto gets activated in mobile but there is no display. Even with black screen, in reverse the camera display shows up. Not sure what the issue is.I took the dash apart and got to the screen. I entered with the assumption this was a cabling/connector issue. So the first thing I did was wiggle the two connectors going into the screen. One was a 2 pin and the other was an 8(?) pin. It costs a pretty penny at the dealer, however there are options from China at about 70-120 dollars or so.
