The recent story with my 2008 Dodge Avenger: I ran a quick errand to a local store. When I came outside to leave, the car would not crank. With the key in the "on" position no lights were on the dash, the radio worked fine, ph charger charged cell. The keyless remote would lock/unlock car but would not pop trunk.
Could be a bad ground either at the battery terminal, or where the cable attaches to the frame or motor.
