Never shot an Accura so I can't comment on them. I know the price of everything keeps going up but I got my Optima from cabelas for 135.00. It was on sale because the 45's had fallen out of favor. The Optima is on the back of the guard and haven’t had any problems whatsoever. I now own an Accura MR Nitride. It may possibly be the best hunting muzzleloader ever produced.

The rifle I was gifted only has a five digit serial number. The serial number on my first kit rifle from the 70's is 78 followed by a space and six numbers.

The overall construction. and look of this budget riffle is impressive. Everything is nice and tight and the seams are very tight. The Wolf does have a Bergara barrel. It's the same barrel the Optima has, but shorter. The Impact does not have a GM barrel. It is the same as the Omega barrel though. I used to have a Wolf, and it was very accurate. No problems at all with it. Never owned an Impact, but did have an Omega. I didn't like the one I had, but it's a popular gun.
