If you want the weapon with the best DPS balance, it'd be Tonfas. The best overall weapon against all bosses is Hatchets. Hatchets are also the easiest weapons to build Versatility with (with all those different and fast ways to throw those hatchets). So, Hatchets makes for a great primary or secondary weapon.Tonfa would be great because their speed but short range perfectly compliment the Odachi's slow but high range style.
