I have shot the Hyperion on my SFAR, Virtus, and Thoroughbred Armament 14.5”. The SFAR gasses my face heavy, and I mean heavy, after just 2-5 rounds. The Virtus is noticeably gassy but not terrible. The 14.5” AR from Thoroughbred is awesome, little gas to the face but it is a little more “tuned” with a VLTOR system.

However, on the 16” vs 20” question, go 20” because the 16” with Mid-Length gas has been problematic. I had to switch the buffer spring to an M4 spring for it to be reliable on gas setting 2.
