Hodgdon says a 1 oz load and 15.5 Longshot go in a 2 3/4 Winchester Compression-formed A and HS type plastic hull but has no data for the Polyformed Plastic Game Shell (pb).. soIve got some rem sp 20 wads looking at powders looking at longshot . Both are right off the Aliant listed loads. I use rem primers with rem hulls & win primers with AA hulls. AA20HS hull, win209, SP20 wad, Blue Dot, & 1 ounce of shot (1250fps). STS20 hull STS209-p, SP20 wad, Blue Dot, & 1 ounce of shot (1225fps). What is nice is with the 20 I have loaded REM/WIN/FED hulls with out changing any crimp adjustments.Remington SP20 wad Pressure with 17.8 grains is 12000 psi so this is just under that. Velocity with 17.8 grains is 1220 fps so probably about 1200 fps. Federal hull Win primer 20 grains Longshot Fed 20S1 wad Pressure with 20.9 grains is 10800 and is 9900 psi with 19.7 grains. So in between that.

This means one side has thicker stitching than the other and that would cause the thicker side not to open. The wads are made in a multi-cavity mold. If you look at the wads, you can see a number on them (not the wad model number). Maybe 1 thru 25. or some square of a number (e.i. 16, 25, 36, 49).
