Hi I have a cat converter problem with my lexus. I have been trying to figure it out but I cant. Im getting codes p0420 and p0430 and i took it to a exhaust shop to check for leaks but they didnt find anything. Althought, i didnt think they checked under the heat shields. The car drives really smooth and is quiet.Yup, the CEL will turn on if you remove the primary CATs. Maybe high-flow aftermarkets would help but I don't know for sure.
