I made a post on here a while ago about my James River Armory M14 not being able to extract spent brass due to how rough the chamber was. Well after sending it in and them "fixing" it it still can't get through a full mag, and now theres spent brass permanently stuck in the chamber. Looks like I'm sending it in again, here's hoping they ...The M14 is no different.. AS long as the original firearm receiver has been properly "destroyed" it is now just a piece of metal.. The SAI BM59s made back in the late 1980s seem to sell for $3k on gunbroker. (These are marked BM59 on heel). They have not made them in 35 plus years…so they are collectors items, esp the folding stock version.
I took off my walnut handguard on my JRA M14 and replaced with a fiberglass one. I was taking my time firing my M14 but I saw a bit of smoke billowing from the had guard so I thought my hand guard was burning. I used the hand guard clip removal tool and took my walnut handguard off.

Ran 100 rounds of Hirtenberger thru it (was limited on time). Only 1 malfunction, about 50 rounds in it stovepiped but I easily cleared it out and otherwise it performed flawlessly.
