May 16, 2018 · The Ridgeline doesn't have a conventional differential in the rear. It has an iVTM-4 unit that has more in common with an automatic transmission in that it uses hydraulically-actuated wet clutches, solenoids, an electric hydraulic pump, and pressure sensors and overdrives the rear wheels by 2.7%, so constant clutch slip is by design.

The tsb procedure is the same as the change, it is changed and flushed , twice though, to assure any and all contaminaints are removed.The front diff. is actually inside the transmission and is lubricated by transmission fluid. Charging you 75.00 for a front diff fluid change is disingenuous, as it is taken care of when you change the tranny fluid. The transfer case is just outside of the transmission and requires GL4 or 5.
