I actually completely disagree. Cemu's build-in video decoder is kinda unreliable, that alone makes Cemuhook a must-have in my opinion. There is really no reason not to have Cemuhook installed anyway. It won't break anything, and it won't slow down performance.

Yes. I was able to install it in Desktop mode with no problem. I just want to play while docked to my tv (with a controller) and right now, I have to start CEMU, then use the pads to select BotW. Using EmuDeck, I would be able to start the game directly from SteamOS. I found out that you should go to desktop mode, and run Cemu from desktop steam.

Dude, i've been meaning to ask the same question. I set up Cemu when 1.21.2 came out and it ran perfectly. I could run BotW at 4k with stable 60fps on the Great Plateau. After 1.21.3 performance started to dip so hard and with the very recent update i can't even get 1440p to work without getting this weird judder.
