But with good pipes, tune and comp releases it will run great. 10:1 cr is moderate...190 psi ccc.

Cam suggestions for 103 HO twin cam Howdy, I recently picked up a 2016 low rider with a 103 HO. Stock internals ( to my knowledge) with Dan moto 2-1 pipes , S&S teardrop air cleaner and FP3 tuner. While it sure beats the hell out of my old 08 1200, I want to really open up the power on this bike. Most of my riding is city riding, bar hopping etc. Road dawg. I swear by Feulings cam, I run a 525 Reaper in my 2011 96 inch motor but for a 103 the 543 Reaper is a solid performer, but if you want under 4k many people I know have gotten excellent low end with the 525 in a 103, my go to cam, good luck on your choice. When all else fails, hell there is always Jack Daniels!

In my opinion and others, the 555 and the 777 underperform in the 103 configuration. I had Woods TW777, which worked well, but that being said, this configuration will be more stock as far as the engine is concerned. Meaning the pistons, heads, and whatnot will be stock. I ride over 20K a year.If you want to up the compression on your motor, use the HD P/N 22179-99A cast pistons. That should put you at 10:25-1 compression with the factory 103" heads. Use the +.10 pistons so the machinist can hone your stock barrels to fit the new pistons. The 777 cam is not a low end torque cam and you need to run the bike over the 3000 rpm range to get the cam to perform.
