The kyuss playing is really tight and the style is different. Qotsa is loose and really grooves (in a different way). It's like 2 different guitarists. I can't think of a qotsa song (b side or anything) that has the same vibe as a lot of kyuss songs. It's weird to me that he's never gone back to playing like that.
