The PF2 Alchemist is currently in the same boat as the PF1 Monk or Rogue. With a lot of system mastery, you could make an effective PF1 Monk or Rogue. But new players without a lot of system mastery were in for a rough time. Since one of the goals of PF2 is to avoid having “new player traps” like this, it seems this class needs a second pass.
