My 1986 3910 was a county owned tractor but it was maintained very well mechanically. When I bought it, it had many new parts including a cav pump, alternator, injectors, starter and steering valve.

When you depress the clutch, forward motion and everything else should stop. If this is not happening, then the clutch plates have rusted together and you will have to try and break them free. JD 670 mid pto won't engage. I just bought a used JD 670 I think in the 90's time frame, it has 264 hours on it, I got it from my neighbor. She said that she didn't use and her dad bought it for her new but she had a bigger JD that she used for her horse farm. Anyway I bought this and it was running very smooth when I test drove it.
