There is nothing wrong with having a 16 in your primary stat, your character will still be effective, but optimancers will suggest you try to get your dexterity to an 18. As a magus you are inherently going to do damage, all you need to do is hit with your spellstrike.The deeper diving includes potential archetypes to enter and there are more of dex only requirement than str only requirement as most of the str multiclasses usually require a secondary attribute.
