The hinge on my more expensive Lenovo Ideapad 5 however broke after less than 1.5 years. Lots of other Ideapad owners complained on the forums about the exact same problem, so it looks like a manufacturing fault. Apparently some HP laptops like the Envy series tend to have similar hinge issues.
