Found that the gray wire on the ignition switch only had 1 volt on it. Took the ignition switch apart and found resistor had broken and appeared to be making intermittent contact. I turned the key, all my lights work and horn. When I turn on the bike there is a click at the battery and the lights on the dash goes off.2003 1600 Vulcan Classic won't start when hot. My bike usually starts right up when cold but not always. I can ride a short ride and when I turn it off it won't restart. Engine turns over fine but won't hit and sometimes if I hold throttle wide open it will hit a few times and sometimes start. If I keep turning it over it get the flooded smell.
