I don't have the rear valve option and need to hook the cylinder into my hydraulics. I checked with JD and they wanted over $700 for the rear valve kit plus the cost of installation.

I have a 3036e (same as 3038e but UK spec) and one of the seals has gone at the top of the front wheel hub casting too. Its only done 315 hours. I saw on the JD website that of seven reviews, 3 posted the same problem - some have had the issue multiple times.
