Putting it in manual mode, I found that the door has a lot of extra drag, probably beyond the threshold of the pinch sensor's sensitivity.I still get the door buzzer so I push the close buttons down and the buzzer goes a way after I push the driver side. After a block or two and buzzer comes on again. I pull over, opens the driver side sliding door and close it again. Drove it around again, the buzzer comes on again. Apparently, one motor shuts the door and another separate mechanism sort of grabs it and latches it. Mine did the same thing. Honda IMMEDIATELY ordered the dealer to replace the whole passenger sliding door latch assembly. Honda FEDEX'd the new part and it was a done deal within 30 hours. You are putting the flip-flop partway out the door, but not far enough for it to hit the sensor. This will also happen on the back edge of the door, when it closes flush with the van.
