The hondamatics are not repairable, at least according to most mechanics, it might be possible to rebuild but would supposedly cost as much as a new one. For 3k I would definitely just have a new ride, and I will never buy anything with the hondamatic in it.

We both have 27 inch tires, on the dct in low range first is too low for mud holes, you use second and would skip first altogether if you could. I'd only use first on the dct if you need to go 2mph while towing, if you can go 4mph use second. Takes a few miles to break them in after that smother as butter.
