Swampfox sentinel problems.
While it is a relatively easy shooting pistol, the Springfield Armory Hellcat is a subcompact 9mm. With +P 9mm ammunition, the recoil can be a bit snappy. Even so, the Sentinel soaked up every cycle of the slide with no obvious issues. The glass showed no signs of weakness, nor did the dot lose zero.

The major benefits over the Sentinel are twofold. First, because you need to remove the rear irons of the 365XL in order to mount an optic, you lose the ability to cowitness. That is, the dot is now your only sight option. The 507k however has a notch in the rear of the housing that mimics rear irons. After about 4 minutes of inactivity, the illumination should turn off. It should then immediately turn back on when it senses movement. If you cannot see the illumination in true darkness after movement, there are two possibilities: (1) your brightness is not high enough, or (2) your optic is not functioning properly.A Final Comparison.
