I've done a lot of research on these two, mainly the sound quality. The opinions on sound quality on these two seems to be divided. For example, on the most helpful review on Amazon for the 45, the reviewer states that 45's sound quality is much worse than 35 ii's. However, on some reviews they state that 45's have a slight better sound quality. The headphones are otherwise very durable (QC 25). The cushions last two years for me. I wear glasses which wear down the cushions faster. I was able to pretty much fix this with my setup (Pixel 7 and Windows 10 Desktop dual connected). The problem is the Handsfree Telephony connection between the QC45 and the Windows machine. Disabling that will prevent the Windows machine from grabbing the focus occasionally which causes the dropouts.Bose Soundlink Micro suddenly stopped working, and wouldn't charge. Charge 5. Charge 5 is a great speaker. Probably the best after charge 3. If you want more power for outside party’s then the Charge 5. If you want to sit in your bedroom with your white coat and clipboard then the Bose. The Bose has a slightly more detailed sound from what I picked up on YouTube.

Still Bose flagship model with best specs. For mics; 700 has got eight of them where QC45’s got six. So call quality is just clearer with the 700’s. The noise canceling on the 700’s is customizable (NC 1-10, off and aware) where on the 45’s it’s either NC on or aware mode. The QC Ultra Earbuds seem to have more consistent noise blocking, as evidenced by the Soundguys measurement charts. See below. However, when it comes to block high pitch sounds such as voices or kids yelling, the QC II seems to block them out a little bit better. Hopefully, a firmware update could improve ANC in the higher range of sounds.
