The best part of using Memento is of course having access to T3 shield and armor regen which you won't have with Striker's backpack without sacrificing damage (at which point, why use SB backpack to begin with). Fellow Agents - cure me of my addiction. I have several variants of the striker build using memento and an all red DPS version using the striker backpack. Whenever I have the memento equipped, I feel I'm losing damage compared to the backpack but whenever I have the striker backpack equipped I'm too squishy (I run solo a fair amount).

Memento is not working in open world either since Season 11 release. Ninja backpack with belstone is no good. The regen is not working with the Ninja. These 2 backpacks not working is a game changer. I farmed Heroic Summit and targeted backpacks for more than 12 hours with no exotic backpack or exotic drop whatsoever. Did it on Challenging and got Memento within 30-45 minutes. Apparently challenging is where you want to farm your exotics.

Unfortunately today backpacks are the target loot for a mission in NY. The target loot changes every day. To check it, in game go into your map and push up on the D-pad (not sure for PC). It will change all the missions and districts into target loot logos. Matchmaking is your friend. The more people you run with, the more loot drops.Memento benefits from hybrid build. Especially if you have 2~3 blue or yellow core instead of full red. Personally, I'd go for a 3 red 2 blue build with technician. That way you still have a decent damage output and survivability and 2 skill tiers with the backpack. Yeah target backpack loot on the summit and within 100 floors on heroic, I like your chances. Seems to help if you can squad up with someone that has it equipped in drop chance but idk might be a placebo effect.

The thing about memento is you have almost maybe 1 sec more in TTK than a backpack with vigi (atleast for negotiators dilemma build). But thats without ANY buffs from memento. The thing were memento shines is the extra skill tier and survivalbility. Watch Rammbobs new video about it.

Got my memento on my first exotic cache from Countdown, after that I get it from caches quite frequently. Same with Kingbreaker but I also got a few kingbreaker by having AR as targeted loot. Actually, bruiser smg build with memento is good with more blue, and youll likely to get the lost 15% weapon damage (red core) from another source, lets say from the amplify damage stack of lady death (+75%/bullet) or chameleon (+90% wpn dmg) and also the intimidate (35%).
