Those LIM gaskets don't look too bad visually but small leaks on the LIM is noticeable... to me anyway.I did use the more expensive Felpro LIM gasket with the aluminum frame. Hope this helps! Kevin . When you take out the bolts, clean the threads with a thread chaser (could be a nut with the same thread but with a slot cut through the side). Then use a little thread locker. I did this for the first time on my wife's 3800 and it's still fine. Not even a coolant elbow leak, but I could be lucky on that one.1) disconnect the ECT. 2) connect resistances 1400, 93, and 55 ohms in turn and observe guage. 3) guage should read min, mid, and max temperature. This tested out just fine. 1400 ohms is for 40°C, and the min in the guage is 40°C. 93 ohms is for 120°C, and the exact mid positon is 120°C.
