This along with more than 60 FPS makes a huge difference although in XIV you will feel it only during battles with lots of movement.
He's not talking about server lag. If you played SWTOR or FF14 when it originally launched, the UI lag and general engine lag is absolutely based on your hardware and that is something that will make a game unplayable, for me at least. Im thinking it might be a problem with the tv outputting 30hz. Not sure if you ever figured this out, but my PS5 with normal HDMI and a new 4k tv is having major stuttering in this game. Just this game alone may of the other ps4 games work very well on ps5 like days gone, but FF7 remake might be the worst game yet on the new console.
