Oct 17, 2017 · I usually carry 3 hawk helium climbing sticks with me. I am looking for ways to cut weight since I am often doing alot more hiking than I am actually hunting in some cases. The Heliums have 2 pegs on each step, so to speak, One on each side. so 6 pegs on each climbing stick. Luckily or unluckily, I still have a tag to use so I’ll be hunting with the Hawk Helium HSP tonight for its maiden voyage. Couple of things to note after install, it’s a little wobbly on top of the helium 30’ stick. The slide pins that come with should be replaced with longer screws.
