Coasted into a parking lot and pulled codes truck has code u18a2 loss of comunication with fuel pump driver control module. The truck is a 2018 gmc 2500 l5p. The truck has a crank no start situation. Not a single issue until 4/04/2021. 7812 miles, had been driven 150 that day, 20 miles from home, check engine light, derate & shut-down in seconds. Lotsa white smoke. Dealer replaced fuel pump, still no start, no fuel pressure, lift pump working perfectly. Maybe $77,000 isn't enough to get one to 10,000 miles.I took it to Chevy (GM) Dealer for relearning per actuator replacement instructions. They used MDI2 GDS Software to conduct the requested relearn, however, the initial "counts" show 287 exceeding the max value of 285 per the GDS software, so now code P100B displays with CEL at ignition on, engine on.I have a 22 that tows and hauls, if you want any mileage, you gotta slow down to at least 65, 60 is even better.
