Oct 11, 2018 · A couple days later the temp warmed up and it started fine. Ran it for the day. Next day the temp dropped down to the 50's and it wouldn't take again. replaced the plug again. Still nothing. Turn over, but will not catch. So I took it to a shop to have it worked on. They also recommended an OEM carb, so bought a new OEM carb and choke. SAME ...

Hello everyone. I'm a newbie here. I have had a kfx700 for a few years now with zero issues till now. I let it sit a year unused with gas in it and now nothing but issues. I took the carbs off and cleaned them as well as replaced the jet and gaskets. Also the valves got adjusted. The problem I'm having now is backfiring from the rear cylinder.

The needle seat has a small screen and it was plugged only letting a small amout of fuel into the bowl.
