The easiest explanation for the plot holes it makes its considering any DDLC+ copy a different universe/simulation than DDLC normal world, mainly because Metaverse Plot portraits Monika as a giant computer nerd, almost omnipotent and has a whole corporation at its feets, but normal DDLC just holds her as a hopeless school girl with wishes to come out of her reality.DDLC Plus provides the only real answers we have in lore. The club President receives enhanced permissions in the simulation that allow them to recognize that there is a reality outside of their own. It’s debatable when the literature club was formed. It depends on whether you consider the side stories to be an alternate reality or a prequel.
