Maybe just rowboats. Unfortunately Chernarus isn't Vietnam so after the ocean moving by boat doesn't really get you anywhere. Oh, there will be boats.. they'll just sail boats where you'll have to find sails and sheets that aren't ruined. And you'll have to search every dilapidated West Marine for shackles or a rudder.

Project Zomboid is sort of like DayZ. It's less shooter and more hardcore zombie survival. There's also SCUM, which has puppets (zombies by another name) and both can be played solo.
